I have been a licensed Electrician for about 10 years.  I thought that being an electrician would be the avenue for me to open my own business. However, this was not the case for me. When you are a tradesman you have to follow the work wherever it goes.  This meant a lot of travel and long spells away from home.  I am a family man and it just wasn’t working out for me or my family, and I knew something had to change. IICRC stands for “Institute for Inspection Cleaning & Restoration Certification” it is a very rigorous training course in all aspects of carpet cleaning and restoration processess.  The training course is very difficult and many people fail several times to achieve IICRC certification.
